So, I know that everyone has probably had a stressful week with all the midterms, projects and such. At least I know I have had a rough week. Therefore I decided to keep my blog low key and something that wouldn’t require much more thought from my worn out brain.
The one thing I thought would be easy to write about is the cliché “everything happens for a reason” as I am learning that the hard way right now. STORY TIME. For weeks I have been preparing my application to be an RA over the summer since I have to take a summer school class. I finally got the cover letter ready, my letter of recommendation (which I had to go down to phoenix to get) and everything else. I have pretty much had it ready all week except for a few little things. To make a long story shot I thought it was due Friday and when I was about to turn it in today I looked down and noticed it was due yesterday by five pm. With everything else going on I broke down and could believe how irresponsible I was. I called my mom and told her what happened expecting her to be disappointed with me instead she told me that wonderful phrase “everything happens for a reason.” As I sat around in thought about, things might be better if I wasn’t in Flagstaff all summer. Since my family is in Alaska I can go lie with them for free take my class and visit my grandma over the summer like I promised her. So my lesson I learned is that I will pay closer attention to dates next time and be more responsible. Has anyone else ever made stupid mistakes like me?

Oh Jamie, that totally sucks! I am so sorry it worked out like that. You would've been a great ra. I really believe in that cliche though. I think its a good way to live and through personal experience everything in my life has valid reasoning fo happening. Well.... most everything.
